What
Ecological restoration is a positive activity, not only for wetlands, but for the human spirit. Wetlands are great candidates for restoration, because they respond so quickly. Unfortunately, many of our wetlands have been invaded by alien plant species, like the Russian olive tree, reed canary grass, quack grass and yellow flag iris. Many restoration projects start with controlling or eliminating these invasive species.
